The feature adventure film - THIS AMERICA billed for Release in April, 2005

The United African Artists and the African Film Company are ready to release the much anticipated feature adventure film, THIS AMERICA, come this April. The film, which chronicles the adventures of an African Immigrant in the United States of America, delves into areas, which many immigrants will identify with. It touches on such immigrant conflicts as residence permit, green card, employment authorization, jobs, marriage, pressures from home, and survival in a culture different from the one the average immigrant has been raised.

Written by Oliver O. Mbamara the author of six published books and directed by Bethels Agomuoh, the director of the much acclaimed “A Mile To Cannan” and other films and stage shows, the film stars a bunch of talented actors with different backgrounds (Africans, Americans, Caucasians, Asians, Hispanics, and more). According to The Expressions Reviewer, “the medley in the cast and crew coupled with the use of real life locations make the film/story so realistic, believable, and touching, yet so entertaining.”

THIS AMERICA is strongly considered an educational documentary by some film reviewers. It is a must see for all immigrants in Diaspora as well as Africans back home who intend to leave the shores of Africa for the “promises” of success in foreign lands.

For Video Trailer of the film as well as some photo previews, please visit www.UnitedAfricanArtists.com

The film is billed to hit theaters soon after the premiere. Please expect more information on premiere date, theaters, show times, and ordering information.
