DESCRIPTION

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security and other government agencies are conducting a series of field and modeling studies in New York City to better understand the flow of contaminants in complex urban environments.  Students will work side-by-side with scientists in the field and will also attend training and technical seminars

REQUIREMENTS:   

Open to all Science, Engineering & Technology students.

Orientation for the project will be:       Monday, August 08, 2005

                                                            New York City College of Technology

                                                            10:00 AM

HOURS                     

Internship for three (3) weeks.

From August 08 to August 26, 2005.

LOCATION

New York City 

$300/wk stipend to successful candidates
